(T) Are code 1 & code 2 lock sets interchangeable?

I've got a code 2 Sei' Sporting & a complete code 1 lock set from a Punto 60, besides I'll have a 6500 rpm limiter will I be able to swap the code 2 lock set and use the code 1 lock set without modifications?

No not without modiciations, if at all i wouldve thought

no if you want to use a CODE 1 lockset you need an ECU with CODE 1 so I believe

As I said I have a complete lock set -
* 2 door locks
* 1 boot lock
* 1 ECU
* 1 code box
* 1 red key
* 2 or 3 blue keys

The question is can I use that lock set with a wiring loom that was destined to run a code 2 ECU/code box.
