Alloy wheel sizes

Hi all,

I know that this has been covered before but will 5.5X14 or 6X14 alloy wheels fit a sei that has been lowered 30mm and if so which tyre size am I best off opting for?

Cheers
Rich

Re: Alloy wheel sizes

IIRC 5.5 x 14 is what the sei abarth alloy is so yes that would fit.

Your best doing a search

Re: Alloy wheel sizes

Yeah cheers applesei. Any idea of the best tyre size when considering the car is lowered 30mm?

Secondly will the 6X14s fit?

Also I think there should be a sticky of a list of alloy and tyre sizes that will fit without rolling the arches in the frequently asked questions bit so no noobs like me need to keep asking the same questions over and over.

Cheers
Rich

problem with that is the variables of alloy wheels on the market, tyre sizes, suspension drops etc
most of the time the answer wouldnt be there and to be blunt even if it was it would most likely be posted anyway

Re: Alloy wheel sizes

it depends on the ET etc, what stud spacing, eg 4x98 is fiat, but can fit 4x100 with wobbly bolts. ET is 25 iirc on cinqs/seis.

iirc punto gt alloys are 6x14s and they fit so maybe yours will.. i have my car dropped 40mm with 175/50s on 5.5x14 wheels, and i know mase for example is 60mm drop with 6x14 wheels(GTs) with 175or185/50s on.

the ET and stud pattern should be stamped on the wheels somewhere.

HTH, someone correct me if im wrong..

Craig.

btw all this info can be found by a search..

Re: Alloy wheel sizes

ok. It a choice of 3 due to the lack of 14" wheels on the market tho links to any decent sites would be appreciated.

1. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

2. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

3. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

(I prefer 2 and 3)

Cheers
Rich

Re: Alloy wheel sizes

Number one is 4x114, so that will not fit. The other two are available in 4x98 so they will fit the hub. The offset is 35 so you would need a 5mm spacer to cope.

Cheers

Re: Alloy wheel sizes

Here is the issue really Rich, if say you run Abarth alloys with an offset of 36mm on the front you want to lose the spacer and run Fiat 10mm hubcentric spacers however this applies cos the width of the rim is 5.5inches with 6 inch width the wheel would stick out more so you have to adust the spacer size to compensate.

Have a look at this and try and see if you get what I mean

Re: Alloy wheel sizes

As I know little about me wheels all I can tell you is this: I am currently running a set of these crazy badboys: http://www.fischerclan.de/seicento/B...0_1003_JPG.jpg

and wish to purchase these:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

I would be very grateful indeed if someone could tell me what size spacers ect I require and anything else of importance and also where the best place to buy the required kit from is.

Cheers
Rich
