Engine Pull

i have noticed that sometimes when accelerating in 3rd the car seems to feel like it wants to slow down or pull back. i dont know if i affected the engine by fitting a k&n induction kit to it.

another thing my mum borowed my car and put leaded in it instead of unleaded could this be why and would it have damaged the engine.

p.s. cluch cable snapped last night proper s**t me up as iv have only been driving for less than a month. anyone know the cost of a new clutch cable.

cheers red cinq sporting.

i have a sei and i had flat spots in 3rd gear, when i put my k&n on, it seems to have stopped now, maybe it needs bedding in.

dont know about the petrol issue, but there may be a problem thats why they have 2 kinds of fuel.

clutch cables are poo on a cinq and sei i have had 2 in the last couple of months. Cost about £15 for cable plus fitting or u could try it yourself

Hi dude,

the leaded fuel should have killed the cat.

Ask your mom for some cash to replace it!

Sorry but this doesn't sound too good [V]

Yeah wrong fuel = bad fuel im afraid, probably gonna need it all drained by a professional [V]

As for clutch cables... £13.80 from fiat, 2 hour self fit job that requires jacking the car up.
