Red face Re: fed up :(

im not paranoid my mum has a sei sporting mpi too and it purrrrs, but mine....nope!

i just did a flush and even tried some 15w/50!!! in it........still the same tap!

so i flushed again and now im gonna use some 15w/40 magnatec n be done with it!

i tried unplugging all the injectors one by one to see if it was that and no joy, but i got my ecu fault lite thrown at me so had to disconnect battery and now ecu gotta get used to filter again, but it mite just be placebo affect but b4 i reset ecu, the leads did feel like they made a difference

but strange thing is, since i did injector test and put leads on, sometimes when idling it will do a mild blip in revs then drop sharp then back up again, i hate my fiat!

Re: fed up :(

Hi,
Give the idle control valve a clean out with spray choke and carb cleaner, should make it idle a lot nicer....

Thanks

Re: fed up :(

The reason ur mums is so quiet is probably it gets driven bout 2 miles a day in low revs, whereas you rag the ass of the sporting!
