heater matrix

anyone every herd if em goin on a cinq me car started leakin fluid last night thought it was radiator then when it was standin tonight i find a puddle of water so i check it and it smells vile and car stinks inside too cos it gettin in vents so it sounds like it is matrix? anyone else got ideas, and how much ya reakon it gunna be to sort out

My radiator was leaking, so I suggested putting the 'el fixo cheapo' way of stopping the leak, the guy I said it to is a Fiat fanatic and he nearly punched me for even mentioning Radweld to him!

Hi
I replaced mine it`s awkward to do but not difficult,i got a complete heater system from a crash damaged sporting for a tenner(my heater blower was burnt out aswell)plus a bottle of anti-freeze and about an hour of my time,read the haynes manual twice then have a go

cheers, it only dripped a little bit tonight and smell goin away and heaters still workin so maybe it sealed itself?

i used to be against it, but so many punto guys have used it with no problems, i have to menshion it now

It could be the water control valve next to the heater matrix, Gaz had that problem a while ago IIRC...
