need answer asap about wheel bearing nut!

hey

trying to fix rear brakes - but worried that we're turning the bearing nut the wrong way-is it left or right thread? dad believes they have alternate threads?
any help would be greatly appreciated

am pretty pretty sure it was the normal thread ie anti clockwise loosen and clockwise tighten, been a while since i did it though reminds me, ive gotta do it again soon ready for IoM, make sure everythings ok back there,

yep there normal thread, both anti-clockwise to undo, they will be very tight use a braker bar

Only problem is if you're the other way around, i.e. doing it from the other side.

daryl always forgets what way to undo nuts n bolts, but has no trouble when it comes to remembering what way jars n bottles open when hes robin my mayo or fizz

well i heard it off Saved By The Bell... probably about 15 years ago and its stuck in my head lol.

Slater was explaining to Jessie how to undo a bolt and he used that phrase to make it easier for her.

its great! its good because its so bad lol.. everyone i catch a rerun of (if im bored and i watch nickalodian or somethin) ive seen it heh. ive seen a hell of alot of em anyway!

i remember when they used to have it on channel 4 at 9am every morning through the school holidays lol.

anyone remember the college years? they were actually quite good

That phrase has re-surfaced on a recent episode of Scrubs . Needless to say JD gets it wrong and the wheel of the car he fixes falls off. Yes in true Scrubs style it is all very random.

just watch the bearing doesnt split in two when you try and remove it

now thats fun to remove!
