| Hi All, New to this forum and currently have a problem with the Cinq, Someone recently smashed the drivers lights forcing me to get a replacement and in doing so a replacement bulb for the headlight. When I replaced the bulb and the unit and tried the lights they worked fine but the drivers was a lot dimmer upon further examination I realised that I needed a sidelight bulb as well so went and bought and placed that in. The sidelight still didn’t work with the new bulb. I then fiddled and the sidelight flicked on for a second. After the flicker I now don’t have the sidelight or the main headlight working on the driver’s side both with new bulbs. I do however still have the drivers indicator light working. I am sure this is due to faulty wiring, looses connectors or blown fuses. What I would like to know if anybody has advice on this matter I would be greatly appreciated. Is there any fuses apart from the fuse box such as engine bay etc. on a Cinq that I could check, as I have checked the fuse box and they all work appear fine. Cheers, Alex. Any help please !!!

| mad bad and very very old | Re: Problems with drivers lights (help please) Get, or make a test light. Attach the wire end to the battery earth, then put the pointer into the various positive connections, with the lights switched on. The lamp in the test light shoule illuminate. If not, then the problem is with the supply side. If yes, then add a length of wire as a temporary earth from the earth wire to the battery negative terminal. If the head or side light illuminates then its the earth thats at fault. Trace the earth wire from the lamp and make sure it aint compromised, or put an additional earth lead in. Cheers D
