| Evening All, I'm after a bit o help...i'm fitting an new exhaust (cat back) to a mates seicento (w-reg 899cc), but having a bit of trouble... as you probably all know, its a single peice exhaust from the cat-back...with just a push on fitting and clamp holding the exhaust to the cat. I managed to get the old exhaust off the cat, with a bit a of gentle persuasion (hammer, wd40, hammer again, screwdriver..etc..etc!). but the new exhaust just wont fit!, the exhaust flares slightly at the end to fit over the end of the cat, but it doesnt flare enough. The bore (internal and external) of both the cat and the flared part of the new exhaust are identical in size... From reading on this and other sites, the internal diameter of flared part of the new exhaust should be around 0.5mm bigger than the external diameter of the cat...is this right? Do you think i have the wrong part (its walker exhaust..part number ft595L), or do you have to heat the end of the exhaust up to go over the end of the cat? Any help much appreciated. Thanks Phil

| Re: Exhaust fitting Seicento 900 Hi, And welcome, you may have to emery cloth the cat output pipe to clean off any corrosion that has built up before the new exhaust will fit on, if not take it back to where you had it from and demand a replacement... Thanks Paul T
