 | Sei Fuel pump purple wire! Hi guys, a little while ago my sei had a problem with not turning over... it turned out to be the purple wire coming off the fuel pump (its an earth wire i have been told) the other day i had the same problem (car not turning over)untill i earthed the purple wire off the fuel pump with a bit of wire......... Now heres my question - Can i permanetly earth the purple wire off the pump with a piece of wire to one of the pump cover bolts close by with out getting any problems in the future???  Thanks guys any advice would be appreciated.

| i am  | Re: Sei Fuel pump purple wire! no reason why you cant earth out that wire,personally i would earth it to a chassis point rather than the pump housing | ||
