| Howdy yall, It's been six months of blasting fun around the streets in my '96 red Sporting. Got a Ret Dot Racing sticker on the outside, GSR induction and Supersprint exhaust on the inside. A little down side and guilt because the insurance removed my 17 year old from the insurance, now he can't drive it! Plus is my insurance is down to virtually nil... Yesterday, friendly Police officer pulls up at red light and says through our open windows "Hello Mr. "Gianni1", your brake light's are out, please sort it out as quickly as possible"... After checking around, seems to me the fuse is ok because the reverse light works, and all three of my stop lights are out. I've got a third spoiler light on top of the tail gate. What options to fix or replace the stop light switch? That's if my deduction is correct. DIY part swap or garage? For me it's a Bi%@! to even unscrew the rear lamp covers or change a wheel. I suffer from a RAC habitual dependency. I was hoping the Cinq would detox me from them and using a Garages. It needs new front brake pads too by the way... Gianni

| mad bad and very very old | Re: Stop Light Switch broke Remove wires from switch. Twist and remove. Fitting new one is reverse of removal. You might find that the wires have been 'removed' by a big foot, in that case just replace them and check. Cheers PD
