| can go much lower | Alternator I am looking to uprate my alternator as I don't think it quite copes with my sub plus spot neons and stereo at night, as I also have headlights running (obviously). When I brake, the battery low light comes on... What alternators would be more powerful, supplying more power when its needed? I ideally want something that I can just bolt straight in without drilling more holes anywhere... Adam

| hi friends :waves: | Re: Alternator Maybe your alternator or battery is faulty mate. The standard alternator should be able to cope with this no problem as it is designed to rum with the following things on example of winter night time driving where you could have, headlights, heater, wipers, stero, fog light, interior light etc etc The light you speak of means the system isn't recharging the battery so possible alternator or some suspect wiring somewhere. Not sure of any straight fit higher output alternators out there. HTH Liam
