Alternator has gone!!!

Hi folks, just a quick hello as im a new one to the particular forum!

Right, i have a cinq. sport 1997, Alternator has decided to throw the bearings, i believe the correct alt. i need is the 14v 62 amps, is that correct?

And also, the implications of taking it off, remove inner arch, support engine, remove engine mount, remove mounting bolts from altenator, withdraw unit. Anything else other than slipping the belt off??

cheers for any help, much appreciated

Ben.

Yu dont have to remove the engine mount...yu can get to the alternator top bolt using the open end of a combi spanner (16mm).
