Clutch Pedal

Hi again.

Another problem guys. The clutch pedal is very wobbly. It doesnt stay straight like the brake pedal for example. My VRT test is soon and I need to fix this problem before I take it. Any suggestions of how to make not wobble anymore?

Thanks.

Re: Clutch Pedal

Smaller font, please!

Take a look, but I think where the clutch pivots, right deep down in the footwell, is a nylon bush. Replace that and all your problems should go away.

Re: Clutch Pedal

You are right guys. The bushes. Now can you please tell me the procedure of how to replace these bushes?

It seems a bit complicated...!

Thanks.

Re: Clutch Pedal

Here's a picture.

I've never had to do it, but I think you disconnect the clutch and throttle at the pedals, remove the bolt (arrowed red) remove the pedal(s) and replace the bushes.

FIAT dealer for bushes or, failing that, any little engineering place will make you some up in an engineering plastic (nylon, PTFE, etc.) or a suitable bronze alloy.
