Re: Got new seats in the Sei

They look very wide in the second pic, no problems fitting?

Are they fixed, or have you retained the tilting subframe?

What make are they?

Look good though, not sure about the colour, but otherwise

Are they comfortable and are they much lower than the standard ones?

Seconded...aloys look lovely

I've retained the tilting subframe. But they are a bit lower than the original seats, but the are very comfortable!!

This weekend I'm gonna replace my catalist(?) for an open one. Does anyone done that before?

Re: Got new seats in the Sei

If they have rear seats, how are the "harness" seat belts fitted? I can see rear seat, and I can see the standard front belts fitted

I'd love to know the answer to this myself - been considering buying similar style with a harness but don't know how I'd anchor the harnesses?

Re: Got new seats in the Sei

Quit simple. Just fit them on the same place as your rear seatbelts.

For those who are wondering if i got leather rear seats......No, they're just the standard blue ones . But in the near future i'm gonna replace them for something completly differant!

Is that safe if you have a crash with rear passengers who are wearing belts as well?
I rarely carry passengers, but on the way home from the pub with my unhealthy (HEAVY) mates is probably a most likely time for a drunk driver to cause me to crash!!!

Re: Got new seats in the Sei

I never carry passengers at the back seat. There is just not enough space for them!!

OK then, unless you have a compliant or not amazingly observant MOT tester are you convinced they'll actually pass as safe?

Question Re: Got new seats in the Sei

(Only ask 'cos I've considered it myself but had not thought about mounting the harnesses safely). Anyone else out there got any ideas?
