Air Horns

:D:DAs all cinq owners will know the original horn is Pants!! with a capital P!:D:D

I was too embarassed to use my horn and therfore it was useless as it was.

so while taking a trip around my local Halfrauds i stumbled across a direct horn replacement - TWIN AIR HORNS - i proceeded to the checkout horns in hands.

later that day i removed the front bumper with the assistance of MilesBetterThanYou and was confronted with the ridiculously small original horn which was quickly disposed of.

i now had the difficult task of locating my horns under my bonnet.

the compressor was fitted to the original horn bracket.
and the hosing routed into the engine bay where the horns lay in wait on the air intake bracket.

all things well and good the hosing did not snag and slipped on the horns easily without lubrication.

it was the moment of truth.......a gentle press upon the button and my ears were greated with the sound of the twin honking horns and the ranting of next door neighbours.

i can now honk my horns in pride.

Fiat Cinquecento.... like a woman needs constant attention.

Hey that's great man how much knowledge do you need to do that and how long did it take??

I went for the 2 tone Ring ones from Motor World, have yet to fit them. Will report back when I have:)

Standard one is a bit 'Noddy'.

the one i got were the twin air horn pack by ring. you get instructions with them. all you do is mount them securely then connect the original wires t5o the botom of the compressor and this seems to work. doing this completely ignors the instructions but works great. so i dont see the need for the extra expense of wire and connectors and stuff.

isnt the tune one illegal to use. i was at a cruise once where a guy in some sort of american car had one and got pulled by the police. would it be a better idea to use the space under the bonet for some nice mods??
