Re: My seicento Project

Not sure, not my liking tbh but a lot of effort without any doubt so thumbs up for that. Have it fully resprayed in Ferrari Red to finish it off.

On a positive note I like the rev counter, nice idea.

Re: My seicento Project

cheers for the comment yeah people have different tastes so may not be to others liking but im just doing it to be different as no one has a totally modified one that i know off, people often laugh and say why u doing a **** car up, beats doing off the shelf cars like corsa/nova/fiesta/saxo ect.... somthing different, its like the guys in leicester with modded micra's they in the same boat done it to be different from what everyone else is driving.

i like the sei because its like a gokart, comfy to drive and cheap to maintain

got some silicon hose through post today but annoyed because its BLUE when i ordered black so sent them an email

also received HKS Fuel cut defender (loving these quality jap gizmos) and some plastic T pipes (cant find metal ones in 3mm anywhere

going to be fitting these at weekend, and on sunday fit and wire a motec ECU system to a supercharged Corsa 1.6

nope its not a gsi lump think he said it was one from a vectra or summin had to have custom mounts made to fit and its using a BMW mini supercharger, my mates just put a calibra engine into his corsa, using GSI driveshafts and 16v 2litre redtop and got the mounts of ebay, so far his projects only cost him £500 including the corsa and calibra and all bits needed lol cheap cheap

got a few pics will get more on sunday for you

Re: My seicento Project

Nice, looking good gazzaman. I built myself a 2.0 8v corsa, as the per the avatar. supercharged valver's gotta be fun but I'm still drivin a cinq cos it's a load of fun, handles like a go kart and gives 36-40mpg whilst driving like a c*ck!
Yeah fair enough it falls apart on a regular basis but hell, at least it ain't a Saxo!

Re: My seicento Project

liking the gear knob

you obviously have a steady hand

i always thought that a snooker ball was the right size, and it should get as cold in winter as a metal one

Re: My seicento Project

update today:

car now all back together new tyres on 175/50/r15 and all boost pipes/hoses are on

just having problems with setting up the Rebic 3 fuel injector controller, car boost's and tish! fine in neutral bu when in 1st gear the car just stutters and doesnt really do much, 1st gear its fine but 2nd and 3rd ect... just **** didnt even get over 20mph as too much air and not enough fuel, cant find instructions for the Rebic 3 anywhere in english only in japanese thing just keep beeping at me and flashing its lights

also fitted oil catch tank and have all silicon hoses now put onto the car except water hoses, big thanks for Phil at PSH for making the hoses for me had 13 hoses made for £180

also need to mod my bonnet as it cant close as the boost pipes are in the way

anyways heres the pics

Re: My seicento Project

i am loving the engine coversion !!! .

A few questions, was this engine change a bolt to bolt swap but with different engine mount ? WAs clearance a big issue ?.

As for the rear break conversion, do u need to replace the whole trail arm and the hub to have the uno brakes??

and can't wait till you finish, remeber to get some pics up of the car + engine bay
