Paint shops

Hi , Anyone know of any custom paint shops in the east anglia area ? Failing that can anyone recommend a body shop anywhere. I dont mind paying a good price the perfect finish.

Cheers.

Re: Paint shops

Checked your local yellow pages? Had no success there?

What are you thinking of doing? An accident repair shop would do a good job.

Re: Paint shops

I want a custom paint job, Ford Cosworth Imperial blue with silver metalflake on top. I was hoping there was a custom car shop that deal with that kind of thing rather than using my local body repair shop that has no interest in modified cars.

Re: Paint shops

I'd grab a Max Poo or whatever those mags are called and look at who done the work for the fetured cars, the job won't be done quick if it is complex and will be mucho kudos.

Re: Paint shops

Check out your local cruise club and ask for their recommendations, there will be people there getting extreme bodywork done all the time.

Re: Paint shops

Depends exactly where you are,, im classed as East Anglia on the weather forecast and these are local to me... midas styling are based in Hertford, they do custom paintwork etc and have a good reputation. Theres also a place in Clophill, or atleast there used to be, and that had also been going for years.. i cant remember the name of the place and google isnt helping.
Midas styling is good though, not cheap but good at custom kits / paintwork.
