different cinq s bumper?

ok ive got a 95 cinq sporting and on the bumper where the bonnet release is theres a little grill type piece there.now on looking around at pictures of other cinqs they seem to have a gap there so is that just a newer style bumper or have people just cut this part of like i was thinking about doing??:I

Im a bit thick are'nt I? What are we talking about? Is it that bit where the door pop thingy comes out about an inch from the bumper so you can open the bonnet?

yup thats the bit, on some pics you can see it on others you cant.i was actually thinking about cutting it out for asthetics but also putting in a ram scoop(right name?)to channel air straight to a K&N you know the plastis bits in the demon tweeks catologue for channeling air to front brake discs.i had originally thought about bodging up an induction kit to put the K&N at the bumper area then thought this might be easier/better NE1 tried/seen somfink like this???:)

Probably a lot easier to just colour code it and buy a GSR induction kit.

GSR seems to be the buzz word of the day doesnt it?!?
