Re-trimming the interior?

The standard interior is a lil.. erm, well basic. Has anyone got of any pictures of any modified (have people put sei dashes in?), or retrimmed the doors or such.

Is there anywhere that specialised in this kind of thing?

It's easy to retrim the door cards as they are nice and flat - I just glued some stuff on.

There's some on my site linked below, or I've got some stored here somewhere - look at the Coventrey meet in the gallery section too.

Shift lights are made up of a cross between 2 Maplins kits, cost about £20 to make. Don't have the time to make them up for others though, m'afraid.

Frequency to voltage converter chip driving a 10 LED bargraph display chip.

Can send you the schematics if you want to build one, or you may still be able to get the single shift light kit from Maplins.

I'd like a gander at the shift lights thingy too. I cant decide on whether I want a single red shift light on the dash or a series of them from green through amber to red.

How easy was it to make? Where does it connect to?

Matt

Picked off one of the coil -ve terminals, not too difficult to make.
Trying to find the article for a reference number.

Right!

Found the projects -

the bargraph display driver is in 'Best of maplin projects book 6' code no. XC06G

Over rev indicator project leaflet is XV95D

Over rev indicator kit - LU22Y

All listed as discontinued on the website I'm afraid.

Hey arc, would you be able to put one together for me? I'm useless at understanding schematics for electronics. I'll pay you too!
