(S) lockwood dials with blue backlights

looking at buying some lockwood dials and putting blue led's behind them in place of originals
was just wondering if the lockwood easy fit kits are ok as i dont really want to be removing needles
also has anyone got any pics of the dials with blue led's as i dont want it to look crap as in blue patches everywhere, i want the light spread out evenly

1 more thing has anyone got a site where you can buy the leds listed in the faq

in the faq it says use 2.5v 3mm led's for the dash switches is it the same for the ones behinf clocks?
also are these ok or do i need lower voltage?

depends on the input voltage?if its 12V then you will need the correct resistor

edit:just re-read you are stating its 2.5 volt,yeah?then i would say a 3v would be more applicable.dpeends on how bright you want to go

did you need any resistors as it says 12v and i dont know what voltage the backlights are, not sure if there same as dash switches

i bought both sets off of ebay very easy to fit and they look sweet very bright on the switches at night

both sets off ebay, which is the other set? the switch set and dial set hope you understand lol cos iv only just got up

the set for the dials will include 4 led bulbs...
and the set for the switches will change the window switches, and the led's for the wipers, fog lights, etc... however, the one for the headlights will need to be soldered.

thats where i got mine from hes a good bloke even sent me spares whne i told him one didnt wrk with no quibbles

sorted it now, the person selling them on here didnt reply so iv jsut bought the led's off that person you mentioned on ebay
dials should be here tomorrow and leds in a couple of days
ill fit it all saturday and get pics
