Several Styling Q's

Hello Peeps, I haven't been on lately cos my my car has been running properly ([:0] Yes i know fiat and working, first time for everything)

The time has come for some new styling bits and bobs so i thought i'd ask a few questions to get the lay of the land.

Knobs....i know its not going to be simple cos there not just screw on how much of a pain is it to fit a new one? The same for handbrake handles and steering wheels

Neon/LED underlights, I know the legalities ("off-road" only) but would an insurance company take it as a modification? I assume they would be but u can fit fog lights so why not underlights

Daring to be different
Bye Bye Nova boyz

You answered your own question! Underlights or Neons are illegal. I wouldnt tell my insurance company about something that is illegal on my car.

Gear knobs are a pain in the arse.
You need to be able to push down to get reverse, and have it 'not pushed down' to get 5th. Problem is that the gearknob is attached to a sleeve that sits over the actual gearstick. Watch out or an FAQ near you soon ( or remind me if I forget, as I'm getting on a bit you know ;o)

Pete.
