Debadging

Thinking of debadging the boot of my sei! Are there any special tools required to take the badges off???

What sort of adhesive should i use to reattach the badges???

Some fingernails, hot water to pour over first, then 'autogleam tar and glue remover' Teaspoonfull only needed. Why put them back on if you are debadging. Anyway tigerseal or the stongest stuff you can buy in B&q...

Im planning to change it round the f/i/a/t badge is going cos its faded to hell, i wanna put the sporting badge in the centre of the boot, and the seicento badge inside the car underneath the rev counter

what you reckon???

p.s i better start growing my fingernails

LOL, i did my Sporting badge Simply use Fishing line - V carfully not to get it stuck on the lettering of course.. nothing else no LUBE or ne thing

gently warm them with a heat gun, or a hair dryer if you dont have one.

thats what i did on my old sei.

Used an old bank card n a kettle of boiling water, just make sure the adhesives seen enough of the hot water and it should let the card slip right through.

i just used mum hair dryer heat a bit up at a time and just pull at it and they should just come off easily
