| I have just got the gearknob issue sorted, i brought the OMP adaptor only to find they only take sparco/omp gearknobs doh! well now ive done the following, pics will follow: 1. Took gearknob/stick off the pole keeping the spring etc. 2. Cut the gearknob just below where it starts 3. Got a piece of copper pipe, about 1.5cm Diameter 4. Put it inside the momo gearknob, screwed grub screws up, then cut down the copper pipe to the length enough to inset into the pole. 5. Araldited the pipe in the pole, might put a small screw through it also. 6. Hey Presto ![]() on a sporting for push down reverse

| AKA Dan | Re: gearknob issue solved :) Good way of doing it. I cut my shaft down, cut up original mechanism to fit new knob then glued it all. Works perfectly but a pain in the arse to do.

| Re: gearknob issue solved :) You's make it sound soo easy I went for the same method as Bananarocket except I got it all fitted felt it was sitting to high, cut down the gear lever too far and had to replace the whole thing for around £100 Still got the MOMO gear knob but a bit weary of tryin again
