(S) cinq front lights idea

I really the puntomk2 lights. Reckon they'd fit in a cinq?

Just been farting around in photoshop (man im rusty with ps now!)

edit, actually that looks crap - i shouldve distorted the cinq to make the lights fit. not distort the lights. duh

anyone else do a better job?

wasn't someone talking about this before? Think it wasn't possible because of how narrow the punto ones are?

it is possible because i was gonna have them fitted to mine but they have to rebuild the front end and also weld the wings lots of money

Punto mk2 lights should stay on a mk2! They look wrong on any other car (Says me with lexus lights )

i thought of the idea arc when i saw some on a brand new punto in my local scrapper because all that needs doing is a custom mount for them made up and then the wing remolded down to them and the same with the bonnet.

the thing that put me off was the fact that the scrapper wanted £65 each unit and he said i couldnt cut the wiring loom which would be needed to wire them up

Why would you need the loom Wayne?

Some clever soldering would sort out that no problem.

you would need at least about 5omm of the loom and at lest the plug to go in the back of the lights so you could make a neat job

if youve got the money and time arc id do it as long as you dont mind taking your car off the road because the car is not roadworthy mid headlight transplant

i dont have the time or money really to do it. Plus, bodywork wise my car isnt in great shape, so i guess exteriror styling isnt up there onthe list of things to do
