It is possible but you need to get the arches rolled.

Silver_Sei had to majorly attack his arches in places to slot his 15"s in. can be done though

I think there is a fair bit of skill involved. I got 15's on mine, i wouldn't recommend them to you if you like accelerating....but if there for show then go for them

Most people will tell you to get 14's and lower.

15's don't fit because they are too wide. i am not sure if you can get thinner tyres than 195's on 15 in rims, but if you can then they wouldn't even need arches rolled.

Joe

joe, dont suppose you'd know if 195/40/14's would rub? i know they're 195's but they wont be as into the arch as the 15's?

Re: 15" on a sei sport

I think they wouldn't rub as much.... Mine rub if i got 3 passengers in it or 2 and i hit speed bumps too fast ( i got 195/40). So 14's with 195/40 which sit alot lower shouldn't rub much at all.
I use some spring 'adjusters' which stop a bit of the spring travel, i am sure someone will be able to give you better info though.

Re: 15" on a sei sport

ah right, well im planning on losing the back seats in the near future anyway, probably even before i get the lower profile tyres (ones at mo are pretty much new, cant justify getting new ones yet )

oh and tyres at mo are 185/50/14 yoko's, but they dont rub at all (only lowered 30mm at a guess, going lower soon )

lol, you shoulnt have any problems at all then unless of course you have a 30 stone install replacing them.

The only real issue that you will have is that you will have a reduced turning circle, the front wheels rub slightly on full lock, but it isn't that noticeable (sp).
