Rear afterburner light cover things

Hi all
My rear light covers arrived today, these are the beauties:
Was wondering what you all used to attach them to the lights?
I tried the provided sticky pads and they were crap. So i got hold of this industrial double sided tape. Black on the inside with green film on it.
Plastered that over them and they seem to be in pretty solid.
Or should i go for a more 'pernanment' method?

Re: Rear afterburner light cover things

If applied to dry lamps and dry covers they should stick fine.

Cheers

Sounds adequate, but I do like Dave's Tigerseal idea

The black sticky pads they use for attatching rear view mirrors (halfrauds stock them) stick like the proverbial pooh to a bed covering, clean the areas well with surgical spirit, meths leaves an oily residue unless you use the clear industrial strength one......nice with coke and a slice of lemon.
