Re: 14" or 15"

im runnin 14s on mine with fat tyres and 5mm spacers all round and soon as a put 1 person in the back it rubs when i go round corners my car has been droped 40mm and has a full boot install so it depend on what you want to do! if u want 15s then u will defo have to roll the arcehs! but 14 without a drop will be ok!

Re: 14" or 15"

forget about 15s... there pointless on a cinq. they dont fit the arches properly so will scrub on every corner and they will make ur cinq slow and boring to drive. good luck getting over 75 on 15s!

14s look really good and fill the arches nicely, they wont scrub if you get sencible size ones (the ones i gave to ghost the other day are just about the limit, 14" x 6.5" as they miss the arch by a couple of mm! Also 14s wont damage ur cars acceleration as much as 15s.

I'm sticking with 13s

Re: 14" or 15"

Me too, the 15"s have been in the garage since June - they only went on for Stanford Hall...

You can feel a big difference in the black one going from 15"s to 13"s, and I built the damn thing to accelerate so why not let it

btw, saw 110 in the black one on 15"s when it was still in 1108 turbo guise. Runs right off the clock on 13"s.

Re: 14" or 15"

ive run 13s 14s and 15s and i think 15s look a little too big for the cinq although they do look good. but theres too much hastle with them and u wont engoy driving the cinq anymore.

if you really want bigger wheels then stick with 14s. you cant lower the cinq on 15s without archwork. they simply wont fit under the arches.

obviously some 14s wont fit under the arches but most fiat 14" alloys will and so will alot of after market ones.

Re: 14" or 15"

Get a set of Rondell X Spoke 58's - 14' they look the nuts. Best 14' wheel you can get for a cinq and they don't need spacers. Too much work for 15's. Cinqs were designed with 13' wheels for a reason, altering wheel size by too much and you got a lot of work on your hands.

Re: 14" or 15"

Mine run 13s or 14s. !5s might be OK on a Sei, but on a Cinq they are too much hassle and the drop in performance is really noticable. Don't go too wide on 14s eaither or you will loose to much with the drag.

Cheers

Seeing pics of your car Vc, your profile of your tyres looks too high/much.

Drop the profile and you'll get on better.

Re: 14" or 15"

Well youll probaby think im biased as i have 14's but id say go for 14's as i spent ages on here trying to decide wheather to go for fourteens or fifteens and it came down to two things
i was told with 15's you not only loose power you also loose the fun of the car which is in my oppinio the best part of the car that it is fun.

i spent more money buying 14's to fit than i could of got 15's for and i can get 15's majorly cheap now but wouldnt change my wheels for the world except one

wolfrace urban race dark chrome 15's as they are superb and suit a cinq a treat and aint as expensive as youd think but dont think there worth loosing the whiplash inducinq acceleration of my 1242 turbo cinq (its actually an 899 but we all have dreams)
