Re: I have £400 to spend...

It'll take weeks, can get you one.

Eibach makes them and it's £130 for the privilige, fitting is straight forward until you come to bolting them on under the wishbones cos the threads and nuts of the mounting plate scrape your wheels, you need some dome head allen bolts and you put the bolts in upside down to clear it.

Novitec do one too, it's the same but green instead of red.

Re: I have £400 to spend...

The route taken by the uprated ARB is different to the standard one.

It goes below the struts where as the standard one goes along the top.

I got the bolts from a company in England, £6 mail order.

The bar is thicker thus less flew ie less bodyroll.

Clearance could be a problem for you Arc.

Pete knows the difference.

Re: I have £400 to spend...

Right, as I follow it:

Eibach did two different types of anti roll bar. One follows the path of the original and is basically unsuitable for cars lowered more than about 10mm.

Second type will fit anything and mounts under the front wishbones. Ground clearance is reduced marginally though.

Second type is also a (insert rude word) to fit with 13" wheels, needs a minimum of 14" to stop the bar fouling the inside of the wheel rim on full lock. I've spent ages and employed the services of a plater, but it still just catches on my silver one. Lowering the car makes this worse.

To top it off, Eibach don't make them any more.

Novitec I haven't seen, so can't comment on.

Re: I have £400 to spend...

Ah, news to me that Eibach don't do them anymore, wonder if they do a Sei one then?

Mine still catches a wee bit and I spent around £20 quid getting new nuts and bolts and brackets to hold it on.

Steve Wright from Cinq's&Sei's said the Novitec one was the same as he had two sitting at one time.

Nope, they never marketed a Sei one. The Cinq one should fit the sei though from what I have gathered.
