Question Why the scratches?

I went to have a look at a cinq sporting today. The car was in cool condition, but there were loadsa really fine scrathes goin straight down the drivers window! When the window went down there was a slight scrathing niose! Couldn't uderstand it coz the scratches were even in thickness, so couldnt reall be a crash... Any 1 have any ideas?

Re: Why the scratches?

Yeah, that sounds more likely. So if i order a new window and clean out the door of all the crap, that should sort it?
Cant really take someone elses car apart to look, thats the ptroblem, plus it took me 2 hours to get there!

Re: Why the scratches?

i'm a full time window tinter and i see this a lot!!!

it's 100%dirt/sand etc. in the window rubbers scartching the window.

the saxo/106 is the worst out there for this problem as the interior window rubber has no felt coating!!!

haven't come across any fiats with a bad scratch problem though!
