Re: Ice

oh dear

sub/amp + 6x9's as well = not a good combination in these cars

Its one or the other. Prepare for a slaughtering from the ICE diehards

Re: Ice

im wondering this aswell? ive got some holes cut for 6x9's in the parcel shelf (not done by me) heard from the audio fanatics that '6x9s on the shelf are pointless' you cant hear them due to the way your ears point? (my mate just runs 6x9s in the back of his fezz and theyre 10 fold better than the original factory speakers in the doors)

another thing, the cinq did have some fli component speakers in the front but they were ****e quite frankly, really flat tinny sound...

my idea is some new components what actually sound good, some relatively good 6x9's to fill the gaps and wire up a single 12" sub and amp with small box to keep my boot space. maybe instead of the 6x9's some components in the card bits under the passenger windows for the rear passengers?

im not looking for some chavvy 'look at how much my roof vibrates with my green sub and me fibreglass tat install blud', just summat thats got nice crisp sound and a bit of bass

sam

Re: Ice

My sei's sound systems a nice little one, 2 10" JL Audios in the floor, I have got 6x9's on the shelf, but this is just because I was running these fullrange off an amp and I can't be bothered to run speaker wires to the back. It sounds lovely as it is, the amps installed better too with no wires on show, and its screwed to the seat now.

lol
i've got back seats... its going where the spare wheel shoud go no worries about getting a flat tyre, as my car wont go more than 5 minutes walking distance away from my house without breaking down

Cheers, Josh
