Citroen AX GT Spoiler on my Cinq - Acceptable? ;o)

Guys,
I'm tight, and have been somewhat reluctant to invest £50 of my hard earned cash on a Fiat Abarth Spoiler, and so £7 on ebay gave me this! Fitted this weekend along with a few other subtle mods. What do you think? Its individual all right, a little overbearingly boyracerish, but that's just adding to the comedy of it for me tbh, don't worry you can be honest......

It's not the worst thing I've ever seen, the wing itself looks OK, but it's too far up, if you could make some custom legs for it to sit lower it may work.

Also, I think you should debadge the bonnet, all those lights make the badge look out of place. And agreed on the light masks idea too

Are you having downforce trouble with this car with the size of that spoiler?

it looks an aftermarket spoiler as well rather than an ax gt one

or even if you could customise it to fit straight to the boot lid like the abarth spoiler i think would look pretty nice.

Re: Citroen AX GT Spoiler on my Cinq - Acceptable? ;o)

Hi All, thanks for the feedback. I must say you have all remained kind and diplomatic throughout the spectrum of comments, lol - very much appreciated.

Yeah I agree with all the feedback actually, it is sitting far too high, and the rear light cover would benefit from the stripe as shall the spoiler at some point in the future. The front end does look a little busy with the fogs, I shall remove them eventually once I source Abarth bumpers.

I'm going to look into making custom legs or boot fixings to make the spoiler sit lower, loads of other mods coming over next few weeks, so watch this space....

Thanks again.

Certainly adds to the shopping trolley look, its got a handle!!

Lower it a wee bit, or make it stand up like an Integrale

Cheers

I love it!

But then again, my Cinq usually had a E-Tech meccano type wing on it when it was last on the road

Hey Thanks, Yeah I know the style you mean. I once had one of a similar style, a black alumnium imported from USA Bomz Racing Huge thing, and if I were to elaborate what saloon bootlid I bolted it to, you would pee your pants laughing for a long while I'm sure

I bet yours looked OK on your cinq tho.

Re: Citroen AX GT Spoiler on my Cinq - Acceptable? ;o)

I think overall i like that car but things i would change would be..

Removerear light masks, follow the stripe down onto the bumpers, as you said - lower the spoiler, lower the car, white wing mirrors i think would be a nice touch too.. Notice you say getting PGT brakes soon so need new wheels, think you should try find some tempra wheels (same as cinq sporting but 14's) and get them white coz i'm loving the look it has atm.

Oh and just spotted your air fiter in your sig too, change that as well
