| Re: Carbon Kevlar Hybrid Bonnet will get some pics of the underside it took 8 weeks from start to finish 6 of them was on the under side as i did not want bonnet pins there is riv nuts so the bonnet can take the orig bonnet hinges i wanted kevlar as the car is yellow and i like to be differant every other car has a carbon bonnet but not mine

I'll eventually start work on a carbon bonnet for Blue with titanium inserts (if I have any left) for the hinges. But I'll paint it! ![]() If your molds are good enough you could certainly sell a few. Me and Brooky were thinking that there's more weight to be saved in the hatch, but it is a more involved job. Good stuff!

| Re: Carbon Kevlar Hybrid Bonnet i the catch was a pain in the arse to get in the right place it is alot lighter will get the scale out and compare the weights later on the day the triming of the kevlar was not to bad having said that blunted loads of knifes files etc but its just what you have to do would be tempted to make some but the time invoved in making one dont think anyone would want to pay for it

| Re: Carbon Kevlar Hybrid Bonnet 1 layer on the top with 4 layers of resin rubbed down then 3 layers of lacquar 3 layers underneath for strenth in the spider 5 layers round the catch and bonnet hinges i might make full door cards in kevlar next and some kick plates for the sills
