| Bring On The Trumpets! | new lightweight spacesaver sub & amp Boot view ![]() Inside view ![]() not exactly the worlds prettiest boot build, but practical ![]() Box made from 6mm mdf, reinforced internally - uber light, and pretty strong (can take my full weight). Made the box on an angle so it sits pretty much flush with the back seat.

| Bring On The Trumpets! | Re: new lightweight spacesaver sub & amp
It is really small - but because of the way the sound bounces around the boot, it packs an almighty punch, and it sounds crisp too - zero reverb! I would love a full on boot build, but what with the cost of fuel, and a lack of power under the bonnet, have made a compromise. The new box actually sounds better at full whack than the original box ever did - and that was a pretty well made sealed & ported box. As an added bonus, the new one weighs less with the speaker and amp all plugged in, than the old box did without those bits hooked up! Less than half the weight actually!
