Cool Rear tinting spray

Right, I need some advice. I see a lot of chavs around town who've got this.

But there is a problem, I see them with a very matte effect on the lights and I think it's looks horrible!

How do you lot get that nice shiney effect? Is it the type of tinting spray you buy? Matte isn't the look I'm going for, so if anyone's got some experience with some GOOD spray let me know =)

Cheers, Luke.

Re: Rear tinting spray

I used about 3/4 of a can of that tint spray, then read the instructions, "only use 2 or 3 spays" lol they look sweet and I bought some cheap reflectors that I stuck onto the number plate to get it through its mot.

I think the matt look is when they just stick a pair of their mums tights over the lights, makes ya wounder what they were doing to find that out

Re: Rear tinting spray

You think a couple coats would be alright? or would I need to have reflectors?

Luke.

Re: Rear tinting spray

only for the m.o.t

i have the tights on my lights, they look good on a black one but only after they have been on for about 3 weeks, they look horrible and matt until they fade, then they look like tinted plastic

i copied someone for mines and there not my mums, there my gfs!!!! (not that she knows!)

Re: Rear tinting spray

Hi,
I have sprayed my rear Cinq lights blue and then realised taht they wouldn't pass the MOT so had to remove it from the reflectors,,, whilst doinf this I obtained a beautiful shine to the whole job including the fact that I realised that I could get scratches out of plastics.....! it works on CDS and DVDs too!!! It also helps with the dial glass ! (plastic)....

Re: Rear tinting spray

I imagine a sei with the rear lights tinted but the rev/fog and brake lights left red would look quite cool but i have never seen it?
