Yes, you wont need to change the indicators around doing it this way, thats only when going from a mk2 bumper to mk1

No only if you are putting a mk1 bumper onto a mk2

Re: front bumper

surely thats wrong apple...? the fit will be all wrong round the indicators.. Or do you mean it will go on that way without changing them and the fit will be wrong but it just won't go on the other way round

It fits, but there is an obvious gap. (MK2 bumper onto MK1)

See pics of Gaz wrexhams sei when he had it (MPI bumper with SPI indicators etc) who did it successfully

Re: front bumper

ah righto, so really you do need to change them over then, thats all i was thinking..

To be fair DJ, if you wanna change the bumper over, cheapest way is probably gonna be from a scrappies/a sei being breaked on ebay, in which case you'll prob be able to get them both off the same person..

Don't the mk2 sei's come with clear lenses as standard too?

Well no, not really unless you are removing headlights to fit new bumper, splitting hairs though, i dont count removing a headlight + indicator and then putting it back in once a new bumper has been fitted as a changeover.

TBH im not following what you are saying. Here iz Gaz_wrexham sei, a MK1 car with a MK2 bumper, with all mk1 headlight and indicator fittings in place

You dont need to buy new indicators (unless you want clear ones) or MK2 ones.

yes but they are a slightly different shape, they dont curve off at the base like the mk1 ones do as you can see from the gap in the picture above

Thats what i meant, you don't NEED to change them over but it looks all wrong without the mk2 indicators (in my opinion)
