Re: mountney boss

i dont think they do boss kits for the seicentos mate. i have got an omp boss kit and a mountney steering wheel and fits together perfect 100%

is it for a seicento ? if so get the omp one

Re: mountney boss

I'd not buy there simply because the information is wrong!

There are two boss kits for the Cinq. If you have a Cinq with the Sei type stalks you want the airbag type boss (or just ask for a Sei boss), if you have the earlier type stalks, you want the non-airbag (or Cinq) boss.

It all has to do with the boss fitting the steering column shroud correctly. Nowt to do with air bags really.

Tweeks, RallyDesign or Halfords (they'll have to order it in, but will only take a day or so) will sort you out.

Momo, Mountney, Sparco, OMP etc are interchangeable.

I think a 12" is going to be too small.

Re: mountney boss

yeh its the airbag cinq but ive found some 13" ones now so a bit more functional as i realised 12" is really tiny lol.

so i need the sei mount. its for an older type mountney if that makes a difference (the center looks bigger). i dont really like the modern wheels so i thought a nice simple 3 spoke round one would suit the cinq

Re: mountney boss

how much does changing steering wheels affect insurance if going from an airbag set up to a non airbag aftermarket wheel? if it makes a huge difference i wont bother but i am curious as lots of people seem to change them.
