(S) Custom or standard?? That is the question

Hello all... bit of advise needed really...

My lil cinq use to be heavily modified with a custom saxo bumper on the front, smoothed out bumper on the rear, hugeeee spoiler however sadly my front bumper which i loved so much got nicked from my car outside my house in the middle of the night. Ever since my standard front bumper has gone on the front, spoiler taken of and slowly car going back to standard.

How much would it cost to custom a saxo bumper to fit my cinq do ya think? Or shud i learn from my mistakes and just stick with a cinq bumper (ive sinced moved house and car is now garaged)

just keep an eye out for a cinq with your bumper. im prity sure no one esle has one like it, so go and nick it back

Easier then it sounds, we reported it to police and they just laughed at me - literally. It must of been targeted as i live in a quiet area so they must of seen whre i lived and gone down my street to get it. Parents heard noise about 3am but thought it was trains so didnt think to look , loved that bumper!

Does anyone know the name of the bumper i had on my cinq, i know that its of a saxo but not sure what kit.. cant seem to find it..

how did they get under your bonnet to get the bolts under there? did they break into the car and open it or did they just cut it off?

if i were you go for a different style than you had. its a bit loud for my taste but any decent body shop will be able to make it fit.

As it was a one off jobbie, its gonna need quite a bit of work, and unfortuneatly time is what costs money, so expect to pay if you want exactly the same.
In reality, any bumper can be made to fit really, its just the amount of labour that goes into this kinda stuff thats the real issue. And there is a lack of aftermarket bumper available for the cinq's, although there are some. Have you seen any of the cinq kits?

I am amazed it was stolen, did they do any damage to the car? just you need the bonnet up and to get behind the inner arch to get it off. Thats determination that is!!

stick with standard or a more subtle one, that old one is out of fashion now

how the hell did they get it off ????? When i took mine all, all the bumper nuts snapped off the bumper and it got stuck!!!

These guys must be pro, and again how did they get under the bonnet?

Did they just cut it??
