Re: wide 13s wheels

it seems pretty hard to find good 13s! just to hijack the thread a little will 100 pcds fit just tight or do you have to use 'wobble bolts'?

try looking for vw 13s is the only thing i can think of, seems to be more of those about

Re: wide 13s wheels

A 205 /60/ 13 tyre would be fine on the sei!!! Im a bit worried about using 100pcd with wobbli bolts. I want something that fits to the 58mm center of the hub (hubcentric) and doesnt wobble!!!

Owning a cinq/ sei is a bit of a challenge to get the look you want. Maybe i should buy a ford.!! My Sei is proving to be more and more of a modifing headache........

Volkwagen hub centers are 57 mm.............. More dead ends

Maybe i should walk in to a shop in Poland or Ukraine and demand wheels and parts. Bet they have them on the shelf!!

Simple answer.....machine them out, well thats what id do, any old machine shop should do it. 1 cut on a lathe and the wheel would be done

Re: wide 13s wheels

No big deal to machine out the centre bore: just finding somewhere with a suitable lathe. Wobble nuts are a possibility if you'd prefer studs and have 100mm PCD.

Re: wide 13s wheels

Im sure most 'decent' machine shops will have a lathe capable of holding a 13" rim.

Im going to find out if mine will tonight or tomorrow as this topic has arrised a few times now

Yep, and I have 16 of them and they are shyte compared to wobble bolts. The nuts collars are hollowed and rolled so they stay attached to the rest of the nuts.....this means they compress, distort and fall off. Locking wobble nuts....forget it lol.

Mine still work fine, but are certainly not the most hardy of things. Wobble bolts on the other hand are very strong and long lasting as the collars are usually solid and more durable.

The nuts do work though.....I got the same cheaper locally though .. about £2 a peice.
