 Dash Dials which bulbs? I have read the dash illumination thread and purchased these http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/u509tb-50...fe7c0f3f1f278d Problem is these bulbs just dont fit  The shaft that the bulb sits in is smooth and wouldn't hold even if the metal "wings" at the top of the bulb holder would fit and the side of the holder was shaved down.  Even removing the bulb from the holder gives me a completely different bulb to the standard ones. So which are the correct ones to buy as I'm having no luck at all  I want either a complete replacement like i thought the 509s were or a replacement bulb that will fit in the holder (perhaps the better option as it removes a lot of hassle) these are the originals and as you can just about see the bottom is a sort of T shape so you can twist them into place.  Links to the correct bulbs that someone has used before would be REALLY helpful  and I'm looking for blue bulbs, thanks.

Every 501 bulb search I do returns side lights and bulbs that are bigger than the speedo light bulbs etc. i.e http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fiat-Cinquecen...QQcmdZViewItem Can anyone give me a link to the exact bulbs that I need, I know it makes me seem like a right thick-o but, well, I am a right thick-o Sorry to keep asking the same question but I was bloody sure I bought the correct things after reading several threads on here.

| Re: Dash Dials which bulbs? hmmm, switches though are not the dials. I'm starting to think that they must be different. Perhaps there isn't a straight swap item for the dials

| RIP L181 VBB | Re: Dash Dials which bulbs? The other alternative is rather than change the bulbs for the speedo, why not get a set of lockwood dials that have a blue/black/colour of your choice speedo figments in them, so the white light from the bulb will show up in the colour you wish for
