Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: (0) | What to do?!? i have just bought another Seicento Sporting & a Full abarth kit, and hopefully some Punto Sporting wheels in anthracite. i have a 40mm TB on there and a modified aintake (I.E. plastic welded the original hole and cut the front of the airbox out! looks mint) i have been offered a full leather retrim in black and Yellow (roof lining and all!) this winter. i dont know what to do with the car colour. i am thinking Leave the body Broom Yellow, with Black Abarth kit & bumpers, with Rainbow flake all over the car! i think it would look awesome. any ideas. i have yellow, black, metal flake and some graphics to play with. Opinions please

I reckon that would look sweet on the exterior - but make sure you get your arches painted black too! as for the interior, I have found out to my cost that colour coding inside can go waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too far. Thankfully in my case it's merely seat covers hiding my rather poor condition seats - and hence I am now on the look out for a sei sporting interior to put in to my cinq. I think the only car I've ever seen with colour coded interior trim, that looks 100% mint is Alaina's Cinq, h5ypr, but then we don't all have 10K+ to spend on our cars Would love to see pics of how the car is now - maybe some photoshops of your plans?

thankyou as per - i maybe posted on the wrong one.... meh . My last cinq was a glitter cinq. i cant remember the exact colour code of the flakes but they were blue/ green on a pearl black base coat. be very very careful when it comes to glitter paint, its no end of hassle. firstly you have to ensure you test how it reacts with the base coat colour as the base coat will change the effect the flakes have, as a general rule, the darker the base colour the better it will work. secondly and most importantly you have to apply the correct amount of glitter, if its too little it has a horrible dandruff effect, makes the car look tatty and as if its covering in little stone chips applying loads of glitter gives an awesome effect and loses the dandruff but will make it harder to flatten the paint. glitter lies at angles when it hits the car, in most car paints your would just flatten and lacquer. with glitter if you flatten it, you risk scraping the coating of the little metal flecks. so...... you have to lacquer it fecking loads, in order to be able to flatten the lacquer enough to give a shine without damaging the glitter. lacquer flatten lacquer flatten lacquer flatten etc etc so really that means shed loads of glitter paint and shed loads of lacquer. problem 3, most glitter/ metal flakes are water based. meaning very prone to water damage. if for instance you get a scratch you might get a white water damage mark around it. this has to be fixed fast or the water will creep. if its been done properly a glitter car will end up with well over 10 layers of paint on it, which at the end of the day if it does go tits up - is murder to take off. hope this helps. so go for it! heres somepics of the intense glitter on my last cinq ![]() another option is ther very fine ecstacy finishes, these a soooper fine glitter dusts which untill up very close give an awsome flip apprearance my new cinq - see sig too.
