debadge yellow cinq

sorry if this has been covered before, I want to debadge my cinq sporting tailgate, its yellow, on a P plate, whats the likelyhood of the paint being a different shade underneath? the paint is in good condition, and doesnt look faded.
I just want rid of the Fiat and Cinquecento badges, but keep the Sporting one.
Removal tips? will a hand held portable steamer be any use?

thanks

Sporting badge is a lot more brittle than the others, as with all be careful when removing tthem however be extra careful with removing the 'sporting' one
