i have some 14" alloys but they need spacers and all that to fit, plus they arnt really that nice..
are there any nice 14" alloys that r cheap(ish) and that will fit straight onto a w reg 899 sei? without any mods?

Really, you can't fit 14" wheels to a 899 Sei or Cinq without mods (for safety reasons the car should be lowered and -- preferably -- have an anti roll bar fitted).

And then, what's the point of fitting nice wheels without nice tyres (£200 plus).

899s should be lowered if wider (or larger) alloys than standard are fitted. An ARB is reported to be well worth the fitting.

Re: cheap wheels for sei?

You wont get any to fit straight on in 14'' without spacers on an 899

Also the forum doesnt like posts with text speak, not everyone is english on the boards and others cannot understand it

you are disregarding good advice here.read the info on lowering your car, even fiat state this must be done if larger/wider wheels are fitted

Hence why sportings are lower by 20mm than 899s and have anti roll bars

Re: cheap wheels for sei?

since were talking about wheels on a seicento. i was just wondering what the best tyre size would be for a 5j 13" alloy wheel. im thinkin of gettig 165/60/13 but i was just wondering if theres any better tyres out there which offer better stability and grip without affecting the speedo.

Do a google round the manufacturer's sites and you'll find fitting guides and catalogues. Generally, though, I'd have thought 5J a bit restrictive in terms of anything wide enough to be super grippy. I'd not worry about the speedo overmuch, it's pretty innacurate as is!
