in car dvd player!? :(

hey guys just looking at an incar dvd player, as i intend to travel to race tracks and camp over the weekend in the Sei. just to make things Non tedious i thought about in car dvd player, the one din size with motorised screen.

but looking at the sei, the place where the dvd player would go looks as if it would get in the way of the screen, would it fit? and if so would it look ok?

most are screen up will not fit in the DIN aperture.
so you need a slide down model or a new installation location

isnt a normal CD player one DIN? and you can get motorised dvd players that are one din too

sorry i should have been more clear.it will fit but the screen will foul on the dash IIRC

Yes, it's a single DIN sized aperture one you want. IIRC there isn't enough room for the screen to flip up.

damn i was thinking that ! anyway i could over come it? is there a way someone could bring the dvdplayer bracket out alittle and perhaps get a cdplayer surround to cover the gap? im really new to this

um the opposite of up
yes you can mod the fitting or move it to say the heater vents but its all work/costs and a poor finish will really show there.
the JVC's with built in screen are an option but are very small.
could also fit a roof/visor screen

i have SX model thus having a sunroof lmao!

my car really dont want to have a dvd put in

Have one of those travel DVD players and run it off the fag lighter? Extra security since you can take it out of the car and you can put it wherever you want....

if your waiting on someone saying heres a 20" screened media centre that slots into your DIN slot with a clever Z hinge missng the dash it isnt gonna happen

ive made a centre console for mine which holds a dvd player and the screen opens up past the original il upload a pic of the console later when im home
