Tint Rear Clusters (big pics, sorry)

Well after a couple of months searching for clear or smoked clusters today with a free day in my hands i decided to give up on getting clear or smoked clusters, went into town and got some tint spray for £15 (400ml of it)

used about half of it and here are the results (forgot to do before/after pics so the one in my siggy will have to do)

did the second one to prove reflectors still work ;) and all lights do light up :)

What you all think? :D

edit: sorry only just realised the size of the pics B)

he will go to court and say you had tinted lights with no visable red reflector he wont
check if it shined or not, but you can take the photo and show that to the magistrates
you might get off but i think the law is it has to be red even with no light shining on it
also you should now have a seperate fog light if you have tinted that, but plod don't
know that yet.

even if foglight lights up red? (checked that too) all lights light up as they should

i might pop into cop station and get the law on it explained to me, and if possible ask him to have a quick look at my lights and if they're fine then get him to put it in writing

Sod the piggies* - looks kool!!!! What was the make of the tint spray - I'm gessing it was pretty straight forward to do? How long'd it take?
Cheers.

"Savage" "Tail Light Spray" was really good stuff, i suck at spraying (cant spray to save my life) but managed to do these ok :p

took about an hour i think, each layer dries pretty quickly

one thing tho, dries darker than it looks before it dries ;)

u could always get a seperate set of clusters for the MOT. simple to swap. but that doesnt stop the fuss from stopping you. does look great tho! might do it myself although i already have the lester round adapters on but ill see :p tinting the front lights would look cool too... well, the indicators. dunno how legal it is to tint headlights

tinting head lights is stupid, when they get dirty it reduces light loads so it must be
the same with tinting.

last time i sprayed rear clusters i used thin go faster stripes over the reflector so after spraying i could remove the tpe and keep 50% of the reflector visible.babysei as long as there not too dark most MOT stations will pass it.still love the abarth kit by the way ghost:D
