| my punto overheats when im in traffic or have weight in the back but it is fine on the motorway.i recently had to change my timing belt tensioner pulley and im unsure if this could affect the water pump?any ideas?????

| i am | Re: overheating could be but 1st i would look at the cooling system. does the cooling fan come on? have you tested/changed the thermostat? has the cooling system been flushed and new coolant added? | ||

| Re: overheating Once after I had some work done, this happend to me, the guy simply disconected the cooling fan, and didn't reconnect it, which caused overheating in traffic.
