my car tends to stay where it is, behind the house quite often - and with it starting to get frosty now i'm thinking i could cover it.

good idea, where sells covers, anything i should watch out for?

Re: car covers

thing with covers is that they really need to be proper tailored one for the as the cheaper multifit ones are no as good, reason being is the wind can get under them and tey can actually rub on the paint and either leave lots of little scratches. or rub the paint off, seriously! You are actually better just leaving it as it is if you use it at least once a week.

Re: car covers

Not sure if this is relevant at all but in the caravan world they have moved away from using such covers - even when the van is left for 9 months. Most modern covers are beathable but for that to work, you need the water/moisture to have vapourised fully, if it is a cold and wet day, it simply doesn't work.
