So I decided to get the DA polisher out and some Malco Rejuvenater Multi Stage Polish. After this I then applied some Soft99 PTFE Light Wax and then the trim was finished off with Poorboy's Trim Treatment and Meguiars Tyre Dressing. I also used the Malco Rejuvenater on the glass to take out anything sitting on there. I need a replacement boot as it's getting rusty. When I hit the local retail park afterwards the sun hit it and we'll it just shone. ?

Forgot to say that I used Malco Ultraviolet Wash and Wax to start with and after the polishing stage to clean any residue left on the car.

The lights have been previously 2000 grit wet sanded and a heavy weight compound used to get a gloss finish.

Anyhow... fancy meeting up and teaching me how to detail, will pay whatever you charge for a job and will help out and learn :)

The bonnet is battle beaten but touch up pen does wonders. Yeah a mini meet would be great. I will have to call over, and bring the cleaning stuff with me. Post something in the Yorkshire Meet Section. I am free most evenings after 7.00.

I think that I should have said that I normally don't get weekends off work, so a mid week meet would normally not work for everyone. I get a weekend off about once every two months, or if booked as part of my holidays.

Detailing is a passion of mine, along with having a sibling who's a pro detailer means I've had a bit of practice [emoji106] Work In the Automobile Engineering trade during the day and my Weekends often include detailing, my missus must love me [emoji23].

Have to say you have done a top job there matey, I've done something similar today, with the exception of different products and a ceramic coating instead of sealant or wax. Keep it up [emoji4]

The ceramic coating stuff, is off my radar as I don't have any where to let it dry off correctly.

Maybe I should take a look again at the ceramic coating stuff.

Some of the curing times can be a bit......extended that's true. There's one, the name eludes me that only needs 2 hours. It's not quite as durable but is a good compromise.

I'll see if I can fish out the info for you.

Just to let you know that I have got the week of next week, so if you are free so am I.

Hey up bud,

I'm off on Monday but very busy, hoping the new wheels / tyres arrive too.
Anyhow, if not - will probably end up coming on Tuesday.

I am on earlies next week and finish at 4:30 - we could meet up after my finish time, im home usually by 5pm.

Sounds like a plan, send me your address to my email. I can call over Tuesday after 5 if the weather holds out.
Used the email function on the forum whilst at work today so you should have my address.

I managed to bag the full day off on monday but... a big but, im hoping my own attempts at the glow plugs work this weekend pay off. All parts should be here tomorrow plusgas at the ready!
