Hi all,

New member here, I have been browsing the forum for a while, but have just had a problem with my wife's 2011 1.2 panda so thought I would sign up and hopefully get some ideas to fix it.

I have searched some old threads, but still having issues.

Last week it just cut out a couple of times when starting and the engine management light started flashing and it was a bit rough running.

I got the fault read by greenflag and it came back with p0105.

I put a new map sensor on, found a split pipe from air box to intake which I replaced and also took the throttle body off and cleaned it. Removed the battery for a couple hrs hoping it would remove the fault light, but it's still flashing.
It does seem to run better without the rough running now.

Can I do anything else to clear the code or any other parts to change? I phoned my local fiat garage who want £180 just to read the fault!

Thanks

Hi, thanks for the quick reply.
I am in Leicester.

I had a quick look at one of your old posts, so if I get one of these cables from eBay, I presume all the software is on the disk or would I have to download it from somewhere?

Kind of...!!

that is one of the 2 x option cables to do the job, ;)

best bet is to look here;

http://www.multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx

if you look at the 2003 build spec of panda,

it says KL , ELM , OBD Key for Marelli Engine comm's - so all of those 3 x cable types will connect to the engine.

the ELM 327 is fine..I use a V1.4...
that..and a KKL VAG Com, as the mk2 punto is a weird mix..;)

tbh for a £6 lead and the free download of the MES software, you'll have a better ENGINE set-up than the @£15 readers on ebay(y)

Ok thanks, will give it a go

I don't know if this will help but on the panda cross if you start and stop the engine four times in quick succession it resets the ecu and the engine management light goes out

possible that it works to clear the light..,:)

but it would be useful to know what it was warning of..;)

could be an early warning of something that could leave you stranded at the roadside:(

engine code readers start at @£8 - so well worth discovering what's stored.
( if anything at all);)
