Hello all
Has anyone had experiences with Bilt-Hamber Laboratories Clay bar?

Every Saturday, i treat my car to a full clean with Auto Glym products however once I have washed the car, the surface of my paint still feels rough to the fingertip. I've read a few reviews online about Bilt hamber Clay bars and they seem to be very effective on removing metallic particles from the paint work and leaving a smooth and improved shine. I'm just curious on how well it will work with metallic paint and does it remove much of the lacquer?

I've used it for the last three or four years and it's great.I think you can get it in different strengths I've only used the mildest one and have had great results. The best bit about it is that you don't need any special detailer you can use it with water, making it a bit of a bargain for £10 (that reminds me ,i'll have to order some more)

placed an Order the weekend, Received Next day from Bilt-hamber.
I went for the medium Clay which is best for all round weather conditions, Cut the clay into 4 pieces and used warm clean water as lubricant.
Did a few quick tests on the bonnet and then went all in. After Clay-baring I washed off any remaining dirt and smears, Dried up using a drying cloth and finished off with some detailer.
I've never seen my bonnet cleaner! :D left an intense shine and really smooth to the touch, No more little bumps :) then..... it started to pour down  Will be finishing the rest of the car off this weekend before the installation of some new Vinyl's
