Cleaning windscreen

I go through a car wash when they are dirty and use the packets of wipes and buff them about twice a year. Hoover the car every year if its lucky. But then I really don't give a flying figgot and haven't run anyone over yet ;)

fancy suggestings something else then? never really thought about it

@Andy Monty for g4 it says 'remove excess with a damp cloth'...how does it dry then, just to a haze and evaporate?

also, in what circumstances would you need to use G2 to remove it?

its a polish it dries then your remove it

g2 is used to remove the excess after applying g1

Andy Monty right okay. So once the G1 coats are applied (supposed to last a thousands of miles) how would you advise cleaning the windows thereafter, using g4, or just a normal glass cleaner such as autoglym stuff?

Also, do you know what the guy is applying it with?

i just use fast glass to clean.....

the applicator pads come in the kit

Glass cleaners and IPA based and even the best cleaner will streak if you don't use a dedicted glass cleaning cloth.

Do a Google search for Citrus Bling - diluted 4:1 is an excellent glass cleaner however my preference is Dodo Juice's offering - "Clearly Menthol" (y)

Same for side windows and rear?

More than enough in a 10ml bottle to do an entire GP... Did my dads focus windscreen three times tonight (three coats on windscreen) and can hardly tell ive been in the bottle three dabs on the pad will do between 1/4 and 1/2 a screen (AS LONG AS ITS COOL) wait till dusk to do it ideally or do it on a cool day with the car out of direct sun... Biggest pain is buffing it off IMO but i did leave it a good 15 mins probably more
